May  18, 2007 - Taste of Norway Result “A community is like a ship; everyone ought to be prepared to take the helm.”, Henrik Ibsen, the famous Norwegian writer once said. Many of us volunteered their hours and hard labor for another successful “ 2007 Taste of Norway”.  Many of us took the helm! Thor lodge made $1446,75 in total; the total expense was $597.86.   The total income after the expenses is $848.89!  Also, we have received a grant from Sons of Norway International - $500 for the Taste of Norway.  The total income from this event is $1,348.89 this year.   Many thanks for all the hard work, everyone!  This will definitely continue to help meet expenses, provide many different activities, cultural programs, and the great Thor lodge  will continue its saga. By the way, did you hear about this? What is the difference between Swedes and Norwegians?  The Swedes have nice neighbors! Mange takk! Sohng. May 4, 2007 Dear Thor Lodge, As your Zone Director I want to congratulate you on being awarded a S/N Foundation Lodge Partnership Grant!  This will help tremendously with your Taste of Norway event.
